I Acceptance Of These Terms

Using this site means accepting the terms set out on this page. If any part of them does not work for you, the right course is to stop using the site rather than to continue under a different understanding.

II Scope Of The Service

AutoNovao provides information and guidance about auto insurance coverage. That includes explaining what parts of a policy do, comparing wording between documents, and helping a driver arrive at a decision with the details in plain view.

III Not An Insurance Policy

Nothing on this site is an offer of insurance, a binder, or a guarantee that any application will be accepted. Coverage exists only once a licensed insurer issues a policy and the terms of that policy are met. Where a statement here and the wording of an actual policy disagree, the policy controls.

IV Eligibility

This site is intended for use by residents of the United States who are at least eighteen years of age and legally able to enter into an agreement. Submitting a request confirms that both of those conditions are met.

V Account Responsibilities

An account created here is tied to the person who created it. Keeping the password private is that person's responsibility, and activity carried out through the account is treated as theirs. Anything that looks like unauthorized access should be reported through the contact details listed below.

VI Accurate Information

Guidance is only as good as the facts it rests on. Details submitted through this site should be accurate and complete, since a quote or a coverage recommendation built on incorrect information can fail exactly when it is needed most.

VII Text Messaging Program

Program name: AutoNovao Driver Text Alerts, run by AutoNovao, 7633 E Jefferson Ave, Detroit, MI 48214.

What is sent: AutoNovao sends account and service texts only, to people who tick the optional text message checkbox on the signup form. These cover your quote request, answers to policy questions you ask and reminders before your renewal date. AutoNovao does not send marketing or promotional texts. Opting in is not required to open an account, request a quote or buy anything.

How often: Message frequency varies and follows your own account activity.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile plan determines any charges.

To stop: reply STOP to any AutoNovao text. One confirmation message is sent, and nothing further follows unless you opt in again.

This site may not be used to submit false information, to impersonate another person, to interfere with how the site runs, or to attempt access to areas that are not public. Automated collection of content from these pages is not permitted.

The text, layout, images, and design of this site belong to AutoNovao and are protected by applicable law. Personal reference use is fine. Reproducing or republishing material from these pages elsewhere requires written permission.

X Third Party Content And Links

Links to carriers, regulators, and other outside resources are offered for convenience. Those destinations are run by others, and neither their content nor their availability is controlled here.

XI Disclaimer Of Warranties

This site and the information on it are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. Coverage rules, pricing factors, and carrier practices change over time, so nothing here should be treated as a promise about what a specific insurer will do in a specific situation.

XII Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AutoNovao is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of this site or from reliance on general information published on it. Decisions about a policy remain the responsibility of the person making them.

XIII Indemnification

Using this site in a way that breaks these terms, or that breaks the law, and causing a claim against AutoNovao as a result, carries an obligation to cover the reasonable costs that follow from that claim.

XIV Arbitration And Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Michigan. Disputes that cannot be settled informally are resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and not as part of a class action. Either side may still bring a qualifying matter in small claims court.

XV Changes To These Terms

These terms may be revised as the service or the law changes. The updated version applies from the moment it is posted here, and the date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed.
